Are you intent on a fast-track into a career in UK nature conservation but have limited experience?
Project LEMUR offers 9-months funded bursary placements that are supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund. Each trainee receives a training bursary.
The LEMUR project has trained 72 funded bursary placements to date, helping to build a network of skilled wildlife professionals. LEMUR has a 95%+ success rate of getting trainees into paid employment within the environmental sector.
The Original LEMUR project has spawned a new project entitled LEMUR+ (Wildlife: Technology: Skills). This is a follow-on project that has a specific focus on developing biological recording and heritage interpretation skills alongside the application of new digital technologies in these skill areas.
LEMUR+ (Wildlife: Technology: Skills) is currently receiving applications for new placements – deadline January 16th 2015. The Original LEMUR Project is currently moving into a new phase of development and so will NOT be accepting applications through this website.
